Missed Opportunity

Yesterday’s game can be summed up quite succinctly:

  • They missed Shane Doan because the team from the mid-western state East of Wisconsin outhit the Coyotes 43-27.
  • The power play had no power.
  • Their goalie played better (and our chances did not go in)
  • The Coyotes only had about 20 minutes where they were able to skate and play their style of game.

Just like game two of this series, the team from the mid-western state East of Wisconsin controlled the pace.  It wasn’t a track meet, but they figured without the Coyotes’ captain in the lineup, they could take advantage.

And they did.

The team has to take back control when the series returns here.  That’s why teams play for home-ice advantage during the regular season.
